Inside the château you can admire the magnificent “Apocalypse Tapestries”. Cathedral Saint Maurice, built in the XIIIth century, is topped by the “Anjou Cross”, a symbol of the city. Inside, you can admire rare pieces of jewellery. The old Saint Jean hospital, where you can see the Jean Lurçat tapestry: “Le Chant du Monde” (the song of the world). The David d’Angers museum with its famous statues, busts and medallions by this great local artist.
