Newly renovated! Located to the west of Angers (heading towards Nantes) on the university campus, the Youth Hostel is halfway between 2 areas of green space: the Lac de Maine and the Etang Saint-Nicolas. Adaptable accommodation (1, 2 and 3-bed rooms). Communal areas (TV, pool table, table football, table tennis, etc.) A comfortable spacious functional restaurant. 5 minutes from the town centre by car, Angers is a city of art (the Apocalypse Tapestries, the Jean Lurçat museum and David d’Angers gallery, the Saint Maurice cathedral, the city, etc.)

TV room, large cinema screen (weekly), board games. Visits to Angers, a town full of art and history, the château with its 17 towers, one of the most beautiful fortresses in France. Inside the château you can admire the magnificent “Apocalypse Tapestries”. Cathedral Saint Maurice, built in the XIIIth century, is topped by the “Anjou Cross”, a symbol of the city. Inside, you can admire rare pieces of jewellery. The old Saint Jean hospital, where you can see the Jean Lurçat tapestry: “Le Chant du Monde” (the song of the world). The David d’Angers museum with its famous statues, busts and medallions by this great local artist.



Games room (table football, pool table, table tennis), sports court (basketball, handball, volley-ball).
Weight training, mountain biking. Angers, a green city with its botanical gardens; the Parc de Maine; the trees and flowers by the Etang Saint Nicolas make this park a paradise for walkers and joggers; the Lac de Maine and lastly the Angers beach with its watersports centre.
